The Isle of Wight Grand National and Ashey Scurry is a great day out for all the family.
There are five races throughout the day which include a Junior section in the Ashey Scurry.
Because the event is governed by Jockey Club rules there are no cash prizes or on course betting, but there is a sweepstake which is always very popular with the many spectators.
There is a licenced refreshment tent on site well stocked with local produce.
Let the train take the strain and enjoy a ride on The Steam Railway as it will be stopping at Ashey Halt on Race Day.
