It seems like June is going to be a busy week for Jazz fans. In addition to the Jazz on the Quay event in Bembridge, there is also a whole weekend Jazz festival taking place in Newport.

The festival is will be taking place across the whole town in a number of venues, and a full programme of events and gigs can be found here.

Tickets for this year’s event are selling fast, so some of the gigs will only be selling remaining tickets on the door.

One of the new venues being added to the fringe this year is the popular new bar El Patron in St Thomas Square.
