Open Studios
Penned on the 13th June 2014
Our arts scene explodes in July when local artists welcome art-lovers to their studios or to view demonstrations of their work in public venues across the Island. Visitors can enjoy art of all kinds, watch artists at work and talk to them about their styles and influences.

One of our favourite exhibitors is Becky Samuelson who specialises in fine art paintings, seascapes and landscapes in all mediums on canvas, sailcloth and slate. Her studio is in the back garden of her house in St Helens and she's looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible between the 15th - 25th. You can find her at Kempsford, Hilbre Road, St Helens PO33 1TJ, and you can see examples of her work here
In addition, this year there are over 120 exhibitors, including over 25 new artists. The range includes sculptors, photographers, painters in abstract and realistic styles, potters and ceramicists, mixed-media artists, driftwood and fabric art. Established favourites include Jo Hummel-Newell, Maria Ward, Howard Hardiman, Lis Toft and Tony Westmore.
