Set within the very idyllic rural surrounding at Wolverton Manor new Shorwell, between Brook and Newport The annual Folk and Blues fair is a very chilled and relaxing one day festival, which is run for Charity and supports a local primary school in addition to raising funds for Leukaemia research.

There are two stages at the event, the Main stage and the Beer tent acoustic stage, which sounds fantastic. For a full line of acts, see here
The Fair takes place on Saturday 13th May, from 11.00 till 20.00. and tickets are still available from a several outletsfor £7 per person (Children under 12 are free). Well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.
With two Bank Holidays in May, it’s the perfect month for a short break to the Isle of Wight. Why not take advantage of the longer days, warmer sun and the opportunity to get away from it all for 3 days without having to book any time off work!
