The Old Gaffers festival takes place this year on Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th June, as always in the picturesque harbour town of Yarmouth on the west of the Isle of Wight. The small harbour will be filled with traditional sailing, steam and motor vessels, all here for this wonderful annual event.

There will be around 100 spectacular classic and gaff-rigged boats in the harbour and exciting racing for gaff-rigged boats within sight of the shore. In addition, there will also be lots to do and see onshore.
You can enjoy browsing the Market Stalls selling wares and produce from round the world, Farmers' Market and Many Local Crafts. Don't forget to visit the New Pavilion on the green. There is a Funfair for the Children and Displays for all including the Veteran & Vintage Vehicles in the Big Boys Toys field and the RNLI Lifeboat with search & rescue helicopter display and open day.
For the adults, the ‘Oooh Arrh Gaffers Bar’ will appeal to lovers of Real Ale and is the biggest Real Ale festival on the Island this year.
