Golden Hill Fort was converted into private dwellings between 2008 and 2011 and was once a defence barracks housing 136 men. Built in a hexagonal shape, this building is Grade 1 listed. With an 'upside down' configuration, the open plan living room with kitchen and dining areas is on the first floor. This spacious room has the original bricked curved ceiling which is shown off by the mood lighting making this a special room to dine and relax together. The modern style kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly want, there are also doors leading out to the shared balcony overlooking the centre of the fort. The ground floor showcases all three bedrooms, the spacious main bedroom with an en suite shower-room is situated to the front of the property. The second two bedrooms, a twin and double are to the rear with a family bathroom dividing the two. Explore the land surrounding the fort which is managed by Gift to Nature. There are wonderful woodland walks and stunning views on offer.
